Today i wanna to share about Muslim Wedding Ceremony especially Malay Weddings Ceremony.Malay weddings is not same with english or other ceremony in the world because Malay Region using islamic custom in their life.
Merisik
Firstly before a couple marry each other,a men and thier family should come to women house to see her family's and ask mom and dad about thier daughter's.If a girl teen or women is single men side can move on to second step.In first step,we call that "merisik or melamar" in malay.
In "Meri
sik" progress,normally men parent's give first ring to future daugter-in-law.
Keyword for first step is meet women parent with his family to ask about female status.If single they can move on to meminang.

Second step is meminang.Meminang mean first tie before marry.Now look picture below.

Look at men head,you can see a men use "Songkok".Its a unique custom special for muslim wedding ceremony.
..and this is Songkok.Songkok not same with cap or hat.
In bertunang ceremony,Men and Lady familys will change gift with each other.The gift we call it "hantaran".Hantaran is special gift from men family to lady and lady family to men.Normally men sent 5 gift and lady must sent back 7 gift.
